Customer Review: Alarm Stickers! These are a rip off!

These stickers are shipped seperately from any alarm system you order, and the shipping cost is rediculous for a few small stickers. They only stick to the inside of a window, which means you cannot use them on a solid surface such as a door or wall. They were also much smaller than the standard size stickers you usually see. This information is not explained on the description, I think intentionally. The quality of the stickers were very substandard, with specks of printing missing. These stickers DO NOT BUY!!
After one week it was window washing day and although these stickers go on the inside of the window a paper towel moist with windex was enough to take the sticker right off the decal adhesive. Now there is just a transparent piece of plastic where there once was ( a week ago) an alarm sticker!
If you have not bought them DONT, if you already bought them DO NOT have any (A N Y ) presence of window cleaner and wipe around them.

I am usually pleased with my Amazon.com purchases. I rely heavily on these reviews when deciding to purchase any item. I rarely take the time to review a product, but this one dis-satisfied me so strongly, I felt compelled to do so. I was pleased with the appearance and the ease of installation. I became dissolutioned when I first washed my windows the first time after applying these stickers. The ink comes off, I mean completely off, when washing the windows. I used an ammonia and water mix which is obviously not compatible with this sticker.Customer Review: EZtoSEE

I would have preferred smaller stickers that were vinyl clings, but these serve their purpose.

I came across these stickers here on Amazon while just browsing. I will say right out that I don't own a set, nor would I ever buy them. And it has nothing to do with their quality, or the problems that other reviewers here have mentioned as to their being sticky, or peeling. About a year ago I bought some signs and decals for my front lawn and windows on Ebay. I just thought it was a worthwhile investment considering I couldn't afford a real wired system, and the fact that burglaries had been up a smidge around here recently. Install them on your lawn and windows and keep your mouth shut and you have a pretty good chance of getting away with the ruse. The difference between the ones I bought on Ebay as opposed to these is that not only do they give you both decals and signs as a package on Ebay, but more importantly they list both a genuine name and phone number on them that carries with it a great deal of authenticity. These Intermatic decals carry no phone number or security company name that is an absoulte dead giveaway to even a novice thief that you are in actuality protected from nothing. Think about it, no security service in the country would install a anti theft system in your home and provide you with cheap decals that don't even display their companies name and number. Their name being displayed is a major part of their advertising. The sign posts and decals I bought on Ebay came listed with a genuine well known security service name and number, and are far more authentic looking by appearance. They are in fact the very same signs that come complete with an installed home security system. I would suggest that if you are considering one of these ruse set of decals that you either go to Ebay and search out the security signs there, or, that you consider the cheaper set of decals and sign that is available here on Amazon at the link. They carry a real name and number of a security company, and also include an aluminum lawn sign. Whether you shop Ebay or right here on Amazon for a security sign, I advise you to forget these cheap and obviously fake imitations and consider the other alternatives. From what some of the other reviewers have written here, they are not very well made even of they did look authentic. Home Security Yard Sign
