Excellent timer. Convenient as there are no pins to lose and it is easy to use and easy to set. My 85 year old mother-in-law loves it for its ease in operation as she has arthritis in her hands and the wall timers are not easy to turn on with the tiny knob. I ordered more for family members who thought they were great and easy! Two different time settings as well. A definite must.Customer Review: Tabletop Timer

I read about using a lamp timer to help one get up in the morning (if one tends to ignore the alarm clock like I do). It works great for that. I love that I have programed it to turn the lamp on in the morning and the evening. The lamp I use it on is a cheap $10 torchiere from a big box store and the mechanism to turn it on is broken such that once the darn light is on for more than a few minutes and heats up, you cannot turn it on or off. Using the lamp timer, I can turn on/off the lamp with a touch of the largest button so having it meant I could still get some utility out of the broken lamp:-) I plan on buying another.Customer Review: Two fatal flaws...

This product was useless for me for two reasons:
1) It can't be used with any appliance that has a 3 prong plug.
2) You can only program two events per day. It says it is programmable by the minute, so I figured I could use it to kick off an appliance once per hour. It is not capable of doing that.
