The dial never moved. The unit got so hot I could smell the plastic. Junk. I worte the company and after 6 emails I tossed the unit in the trash and wrote this review. For the same price I got 2 digital timers from a different company that work perfectly.
This is overpriced junk...and I cleaned that up.

This timer works great, easy to set and allows you to have two different times of the day for it to turn on and off. I have had several timers and when the last one broke down, I ordered two of this product. It is by far the best of those I have had. I have a light already turned on when I enter our bedroom at night and the one in the family room is set for evening and also is on in the morning when I get up to read the paper. The lighted dial also serves as a soft night light. You won't be disappointed in this product.Customer Review: Love these auto timers
