We got these when the baby was born to keep down some of the dust - we put one in our room and one in the living room and they seem to work fine. They are very quiet and don't take up alot of space. They work for about a month or so without needing cleaned but cleaning is fairly easy and only takes a few minutes (plus a few more to dry).
We use the car ones to, only I can't tell if there is much difference. I suppose they work fine as I don't seem to have to dust the dashboard as often.

Got this mainly for my baby and it was great...he never had allergies. I am not sure if this helped or not but I am happy to have peace of mind having it. Very economical since you don't have to buy new filters, just wash it with soap n water. Great design. The car ionizers were not used. I still have them.Customer Review: Great Product

Ionic Pro is a great company and these two products are fantastic. They are, indeed, totally silent and do what they claim they do. I also have the larger version and love them all. They are so easy to clean it is scary how well they work. Instructions say to just wipe them off, but smoke does not just rub off easily. I spray the blades with a cleaning solution and let it sit in the bathtub, then turn on the shower and it rinses off cleanly. No scrubbing at all. Let dry and put it back into the machine and it works just fine. If you are looking for a great air purifier, I highly reccommend these two. If you are worried about the amount of ozone they produce, they are WAY below government standards...and the smell they produce is so clean smelling. The two car versions do not offer a removable blade but they look like they can also be cleaned the same way.Customer Review: Great Product

I got these to replace my ~4 year old Ionic Breeze, which had died on me. I'm an allergy suffer and the Ionic Breeze was effective at keeping my allergies in check, so I figured I'd give one of the knock offs a try and save ~50%. After only a few hours use I got noticable allergy relief. The Ionic Breeze is a slightly nicer product, but at twice the cost. I opted for the deal Amazon offered: 1 Ionic Pro Turbo + a twin pack of the compact Ionic Pros.
I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about bright LED. Sure it's bright, but it's not keep you up at night bright. Maybe previous models had a brighter LED.
The compact Ionic Pro, delivers both clean air and a solid value. I no longer miss my Ionic Breeze (which was also a great product).

These are great. Good price, big difference in air quality. I work in a shop with a lot of dust & etc. in the air, and it picks up a lot more than I expected. Easy to clean. Odor-wise, only seems to make a difference in a very, very small room -- it has an odd, but very clean electrical smell, but again it definitely makes a difference.
The car air freshener things don't really seem to do anything, but those were bonus / not really what I bought it for, anyway. Definitely worthwhile purchase.
