I bought the twin pack and was very skeptical as they are so quiet and I hardly felt any air movement from them. I have one in each bedroom. Before reading other reviews, I wondered if I was nuts. But the air in both rooms smells fresher, cleaner. I've just ordered a third, larger one for the living/dining room area. I'm also very happy to be able to clean blades rather than replace filters. I'm extremely happy with them and sorry I didn't get them sooner!Customer Review: I use 1 in each room of my home - Quiet and efficent

The air in my home like most have outside polution coming in. The Ionic air purifers, claen the air, making my breathing easier. What I am sorry to hear is that Amazon will no longer be carrying this product, as it seems to the 2 pack, making it a great deal. I have read that the car one does no do anything, I disagree, I feel beeter and others have commented, and bought their own..Customer Review: I will not buy this brand again!

Well it worked fine for about 9 months then it stared haveing trouble. the clean light would stay on and not go off I never put the element back into it until days after cleaning so I know it was dry. It will no longer function so I will have to try another filter brand. good luck with it if you try it does do good job when it works!Customer Review: If you want to throw money away, give it to charity instead of buying one of these

Too bad there's no way to add a pic to these reviews; I saved a picture of my Ionic Pro where it ended up--next to the garbage can outside--where it should have been to begin with. It gives off ozone, and is a hassle to clean. Actually, it's more than a hassle to clean, it's impossible: you cannot get inside the unit to clean the dust, etc., that collects. You can clean the ionizing wires, in fact you have to, but unfortunately, when you push all the plastic pieces back together, most of the time the red light will stay on. It does not have a fan, and if my poor brain had been functioning when I bought it at Fry's, I would have added 2 and 2 together and realized that it could not possibly clean the air in anything other than a small closet. I have an old Honeywell, the predecessor to the Honeywell 50250N 99.97% Pure HEPA Round Air Purifier, and if you put even one hundredth of what that Honeywell collects onto the Ionic Pro's , the Ionic Pro would stop working and give you the red "clean" light. The Honeywell has expensive replaceables and costs more to run, but it has one overwhelming advantage: it actually works, and it does not give off ozone. I purchased one twin pack of the Ionic Pro last year and another last month. We also have two Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Units that we purchased about 5 years ago. Yes, I know it seems like a lot of units for one house but we have a very large finished basement where we keep two units and I like to have one in each bedroom. I can tell you that the Ionic Pro is extememly comparable in quality to the Ionic Breeze units except for cleaning of the wires. On the Breezes you have to pick the unit up and turn it upside down repeatedly 9 times to move beads along the wires. The Pro has a built in wire cleaner so you just have to raise and lower a little stick. With a house full of allergy suffers these have brought much relief and even reduced sinus headaches I used to get often while sleeping. I would recommend to anyone.
