Customer Review: Great product w/ delivery problems

The items were ordered on Dec. 16 with delivery schedule by Dec. 24. Product finally received on January 15th after note was sent to Amazon that product had not been received. I did not received acknowledgment that Amazon was working on the problem which led me to refuse payment on my credit card two weeks later. The items finally were delivered without notice or apology for the inconvenience. Customer satisfaction not only pertains to quality of the product. Customer communication is also important allowing a flow of information to eliminate confusion and frustration. I had high hopes for these gloves because of the gripping properties of the silicone strips and the heat-resistant material, but they did not come even close to meeting expectations. For the price paid, they should have performed better than my regular padded terry hot pads but they didn't even perform as well. They are going back to the store.Customer Review: I wish there were two in a set.

This is the only practical oven mitt I have ever found. We've tried everything. Either they don't keep the heat out or they are huge and clunky. Only problem is I wish they were sold as a set. With heavy baking dishes I still have to use another ineffective pot holder on the other hand.
