This is a super cute apron, however it is made out of very thin material. It's the kind of apron where you wear something else to cook the food, and when company starts to arrive quickly switch to this one for show. It is not likely to save you from splattering grease. Would have liked something a little sturdier. Recommended as a gift for a new housewife who is just looking to get into the kitchen.
