I've only used this steamer on our new curtains so far, but it got out all of the wrinkles pretty easily. We needed to use an extension cord but that was no problem. Great little steamer. I truly detest ironing so this is the perfect little steamer to do the job. I use it for 1 or 2 items at a time. It heats up in a matter of seconds and does a wonderful job on everything. Very easy to use.Customer Review: Does not work horizontally

I never tried it, I was getting it as a replacement for a different travel steamer we had that broke - I saw a picture somewhere that showed someone using it horizontally and so I got it to use it on a regular ironing board, however, first thing it said in the manual was to ONLY use it vertically so I sent it right back.Customer Review: Don't waste your time with anything else!

Don't waste your time with anything else!
I have had Sunbeam with hand pump, Rowenta with power pump and Conair. The sumbeam was ok the rest were a joke. This one is all you need. I travel weekly and do my suits when I get to the hotel. No matter how bad they get in the suitcase this will bring them back from the dead. No Moving Parts, Holds plenty of regular tap water, Fast, Hot and Plenty of steam.
As always, Amazon it the best.

This steamer took the wrinkles out of a tiered silk dress without any problems. It's lightweight and easy to use without fancy buttons or switches. It's made in the USA!!
