I'm not sure if the steamer works well because this is my first one. I might not even be any good at steaming because I can't seem to make my clothes look smooth and I keep burning my fingers. The unit, although easy to put together is a monster in the closet. It takes up most of the space in there. The rod doesn't seem to hold the hanger all that well and I feel like I'm chasing my clothes all around it while burning not only my finger, but also my legs because of the super stiff hot hose. I only wish I hadn't thrown out the original box, because I can't return it now.Customer Review: A Must Have!!

I don't know how I've lived my 43 years without one of these! Makes getting dressed in the morning soooooo nice. I don't have to worry about wrinkled, closet-crunched clothes anymore. This thing takes the wrinkles out of anything in no time flat. If you run to the dry-cleaners a lot, you need one of these!Customer Review: A Steamer that works!

I kept watching for this steamer to go on sale at a price I would be willing to take the dive. All the reviews said this was a great steamer. And now that I own one, I will back up the great reviews. It took a little practice, but once you understand how to use it, you'll have a handful of clothes steamed & back in your closet in no time. I still can't believe how fast I can steam all my blouses & pants. What took me three hours to iron, takes one hour steaming. I love it!Customer Review: A good quality product

Prior to buying I did loads of research on various types of steamers and Jiffy got the best reviews. No wonder it is fabulous. It halves (if not more) my ironing time. It's so quick and simple to set up it's worth getting out for 1 item. I have much better results on T-shirts, camis and polo shirts and around buttons (doesn't flatten the collars like irons do). Duvet covers are much quicker- although it takes some time to work out a good system (but persevere it is possible- you can even iron them on the bed!). As others stated shirts are not as crisp but on the whole they are good- (again practice needed) and depends how fussy you are. You do need to develop some hanging system and have all your clothes on hangers beore you start because once you get going the clothes disappear fast. One down side- have to be careful of getting too close to the steam with fingers when you first use it. Would probably have been a good idea to buy the hanging board as well.Customer Review: A very versatile product

It is rarely used for its intended purpose, it's mainly used to clean the bathroom. Was used once on the kitchen floor and it did a wonderful job! All without chemicals, no more sticky floors like one would get if cleaning products were not rinsed properly. Forget about the so-called 'steam mops', this works so much better. The advertising makes the steam mop appear to work so easily - don't believe what they tell you on TV - the Jiffy Steamer really does the job on kitchen floors and it does it very well! It was used once to freshen clothing but if it is just washed and removed from the dryer promptly, steaming really isn't necessary.
