Steamer works pretty well as advertised - the top hook doesn't hold the wand too well, but good enough. A little water remained in the reservoir after use that was difficult to pour out because I wanted a dry appliance when storing in the closet. I like how easily it moved from place to place. I'm using distilled water so there won't be any hard water scaling.Customer Review: Steamer does not remove wrinkles

I bought this item based upon all of the positive reviews but I am very disappointed in this steamer. I purchased it to steam my bed sheets that I used to iron. I was very hopeful when I removed the unit from the box, I was impressed with the easy assembly and quality. Plugged it in, it quickly produced steam but I noticed there was no way to control the amount of steam coming from the head. I had also purchased their steaming board and began to steam the pillow cases. After 15 minutes, the cases were still wrinkled, then I noticed the head would spit out water onto whatever I was steaming. I even tried just hanging the pillow cases on the steamer and still did not achieve the results I expected.
Bottom line is this unit did not do as good a job as an iron and I think I could have spent hours trying to steam a pillow case and it would still not have gotten the wrinkles out. It seems that there is simply not enough steam coming out to get rid of wrinkles. I am returning the unit and will purchase from another company as I have lost faith in Jiffy.

I was pleased with this product! It does not make a garment crisp but it does get out the wrinkles! It heats up right away and it is great to use for quick touch ups! I found, however, I have to hang a shirt on a door (which I cover with a beach towel to protect the paint)as it works better with a solid background behind it.Customer Review: Steamer to the Rescue

I got this steamer for my wife for Christmas and she loves it! I assembled the unit and was impressed with the quality of the parts. I did a lot of looking around for the "perfect" unit and this fits the bill. Seems to be ready to go quickly and once again, all of the parts were high quality.
