Hey folks,
Please be aware, these bags are NOT AIR TIGHT. if you're buying these ziploc totes because you need airtight storage (um, like Ziploc bags normally are), these totes come with a machine cut set of holes across the top of the bags just under the zipper and are NOT AIR TIGHT. And in fact are designed to be vented. This is fine if what you really need is air to get to your stuff (I guess if you're storing smelly socks or sweaty gym clothes) but if you really want to be able to pack these away in an attic or closet space and know that nothing can get in or out of them, these are not the bags for you. I would suggest looking at ziploc's XXL bags instead. I was totally bummed because I thought this would be an easier and safer solution than hard plastic bins, but no such luck.
