Although I think this item is overpriced for what it is, the design is genius, so in the end, it makes it worth the price. My hats were hanging on it less than a minute after receiving it. This item is a good way to organize your slouch or adjustable caps. I would never suggest you use this to keep your New Era 5950s or any other wool type hat as it most likley will mis-shape your hat and probably wouldn't even be able to hold it anyway.
I use it to keep my collection of fitted Twins caps and the 3 or so adjustable caps I own. I find it perfect for these caps.
If you are looking for a way to organize your New Era 5950 type baseball caps, this item is not for you.
If you are organizing caps like those type featured in the picture, this is an inexpensive and simple way to do so.

This is the best baseball cap storage system I have ever found. It simply works. The tabs on which the caps are hung are sturdy and effective. The metal clips and elastic bands made hanging the system inside a closet door simple and quick. The best thing of all is that this is one of the lowest-priced systems I have ever found. I recently got this product, and it will soon be returned. It smashed all of my hats (and thats with the door kept opened). I am a guy who hates dented and smashed hats. If you are too, do not buy this product. It will not keep their shape in any way. You would be better off getting a cardboard box in which to set your hats in, and carefully stacking them on top of each other, and then placing that box in a closet somewhere. If all you want is storage, great. If you want something that will help to protect the shape of your hats and provide storage, then this is not the product for you. In fairness to the manufacturer, my hats looked exactly like the hats in the photo - smashed. Obviously, I should have looked closer at the photos provided. Lesson learned, and this junk will soon be making its way back.
