Yes, this comes with two in the package. I don't think it's any coincidence that each of the hooks snapped off of BOTH of the straps. Is it really that difficult to reinforce a stitch in order to hold the weight of multiple purses??? After I took both of the straps to my sewing machine and put some GOOD stitches in, it worked fine. I absolutely love it....but it was created very poorly.
Don't buy this unless you have a sewing machine to reinforce it. Great idea, poor creation.

My problem with this product is either the unit itself is to short for standard doors or the hooks that hang it from the door are not any good. When trying to install it the unit would fall on me because one of the hooks would slip because of the stress from stretching it on the door. It does however come with a way to fasten it to a wall which works perfectly. However I didn't want to hang my purses on the wall I wanted them out of sight on the back of the door.Customer Review: God send for my beloved handbags!

These purse hooks are PERFECT for what I needed them for. To organize my purses and bags instead of having them lying randomly on a shelf or smashed up in one of those hanging drawers in the closet. I never tried to use these on my closet doors so I cannot comment on how well door hanging works out. Personally I don't want my purses hanging on a door that is constantly opening/closing. It seems like the bags might fall off if someone swings it open fast, and since I'm not the only person to use my closet I prefer to have my purses out of the way. I chose to instead use some of those painting hooks found at any homestore that are meant to hold 10, 30, 100 lb paintings. I hammered one hook on each side of my closet about 6 feet up, and just slipped the rack over it, voile!!! It's all set up and ready to go. You only need a space the width of your widest purse/bag to hang this rack. I live in an apartment so using those hooks I found makes it super easy to remove them with minimum intrusion on the wall. I have some pretty thick and heavy brand name leather/suede bags and they haven't made the hooks slip down yet so I'm not sure why one consumer complained about that. I love how I can space the hooks any way I want for any size bag. I just pulled each hook tight, and the textured ridges of the hook against the textured fabric have held my bags perfectly for a few weeks now.
It made me so happy when I first set these hooks up to see my bags displayed in a way that I can quickly select whichever I want and they are not being smashed losing shape, or forgotten under other items. I also love this system because it doesn't steal space away from where I hang my clothes.
Overall, I love my purses alot and this not only keeps them organized nicely, but puts them on a great display so when I look at the closet, I can see all my bags and I fall in love with them all over again. I have not found ANY purse organizer that can do that (unless you have one of those professionally installed, celebrity style, Mariah Carey/Kimora Lee type built-in closet organizers that cost thousands. So while I'm still dreaming for one of those, this is the best product out there for a bargain-shopping purse lover like myself.

I needed to free up shelf space in my closet so I purchased the over the door hangers. I found them to be very user friendly and sturdy for the price. I have subsequently ordered them for each of my family member's closets. I am a space-saver fanatic and these made me very happy. Mahalo!
