This is definitely the best option for a small toddler who is potty trained. Our daughter is tiny and has been potty trained since age 1 1/2 and we've never found anything quite as convenient. She loves that she won't fall in and can climb onto the toilet without the baby seat falling off the toilet. And, with this seat, we don't have the problem of having to wash off misdirected pee as we had to with the portable seats. The quiet close function on the toddler ring is a great asset. The funny thing about the seat is that I'm just over 5 feet and I can even use it with the small ring on. Very convenient for all.Customer Review: Great for Elongated Toilet

This seat was for an elongated toilet so it would not work for us. The seats are also all plastic. It looks like when the kids seat is up that it would poke an adult using the regular seat in the back.Customer Review: Great for young son

This seat is the perfect addition to our Kohler Memoirs toilet in our 3 year-old son's bathroom. Made potty-training a breeze because he can go all by himself. No more cleaning out the little potty! I was going to buy this at Home Depot Expo, for over $60 plus tax, but lucky for me they were out and I didn't feel like waiting for three weeks. I got it from Amazon in less than 7 days from the day I ordered it, and that's with free shipping. The picture, as mentioned, is completely wrong. The seat is elongated, and the top is kind of a tear drop shape. It's not bad looking, and actually looks a little "sleak," though I never thought I would use that word to describe a toilet seat. The smaller, child seat is great for my 3 and 4 year olds. They love it, and no longer worry about a rear dip, if you have little ones and your kids don't want to use a potty seat you know what I mean. My experience with this seat is that you have to place it down. They will not slam down, no matter how hard anyone tries. Only the cover will slam (if the seats are down already). The seat is comfortable, easy to clean, easy to install, and everything I would have expected from Kohler. If you have little ones I HIGHLY recommend this seat....of course, I can't understand why you would be looking at this or reading this far if you didn't have little kids.Customer Review: Great seat for child and adult

I've had this seat for about a week now. Simple to install, just like any other toilet seat. It's very nice to not have to deal with a seat insert so my son can use the toilet - much cleaner and more convenient.
The ability to detach the seat itself and leave the screwed on attachment pieces on the toilet in order to clean the entire seat mechanism in the shower or sink if needed is brilliant.
