Customer Review: A near-perfect solution

I needed a reasonably simple hoist solution to store my Delta 14.5 kayak (~50lbs). I looked into buying my own parts and building one myself, then came across the RAD solution. The cost was quite reasonable and in line with what I would likely have spent on components building my own. I'm glad I tried the RAD because it works fine (probably better than anything I would have kludged together), was pretty easy to install (took me ~1hr) and it does the job. While some simpler solutions (a simple "L" brackets, for example) might work for some people, or perhaps for smaller kayaks, I found the RAD solution to be the ideal storage solution for my kayak in my rather overcrowded garage. I would definitely recommend this product.
