I am really happy with this humidifier. It is our fourth humidifier in as many months... the others have all failed in one way or another and I was ready to give up! We wanted a humidifier for our sons bedroom and were going for all the cute looking kids ones - which do not work! I was starting to think that we were cursed or that there was no such thing as a good working humidifier..... until this came along.
I rate this one for a few main reasons.
1. It is so simple to use. No gadgets or settings.
2. It is so easy to clean and assemble.
3. It is super easy to fill - right from the top with no taking anything apart.
4. It is quiet and pleasant to have on.
5. It is sturdy and the water tank does not feel like it is going to crack every time you clean it.
There is one major con - it is pretty ugly. Not major in my book because of all of the above and because it does what it is supposed to do - which is the main thing. I told my son it was a space ship and he seems to have gone along with that - he is two so easy to please....
Don't hesitate to get this if what you really want is just a good reliable working humidifier.

I needed a vaporizer that makes some noise, but not too much noise (I like a little white noise). It puts out a nice steady stream of moisture. I use it on my night stand with a towel under it, hanging over the edge to protect the front of the stand, and it never stains the stand from water. I had a previous model (which was louder) and had it for almost two years. It rusted from constant use. This is a good replacement. The basin is a little more flimsy than the past model, but it doesn't really hurt the product. It holds a lot of water, and is easy to refill. The refill cartridges are easy to replace. Note: with my new one it did make rather a lot of noise just the first use, for some reason. I purposely ran it through the afternoon, assuming the first run might be uneven. It was, and it did run smoothly later that evening. So, don't judge it on the first few hours. Another note: with the previous model, I would run it one night, pour a little more water in it the second night, back up to the line, and rinse it the third night. This has kept it from growing mildew, without having to rinse it too often. Oh yeah - Amazon has two models, one with a letter after it, and one without. From what I can tell, they are the same. I ordered the one with the letter (for free shipping) and it does not have a letter after the model number on the box itself.Customer Review: It is healthy product

When I had a bad alergy, I bought this product and I was so happy what i bought. It really helped me sleep longer at night. I liked that its quietness. Only thing is you need to take care of your humidifier so often: to check the water level usually twice a day and to clean in vinegar every week.Customer Review: Kaz humidifier - Great!

I buy these humidifiers because they are easy to clean & maintain, and they broadcast a nice mist.
There are no gooey-feeling in-the-water-filters to clean or replace. There is one little filter that cleans the air before it enters into the humidifier, but other than that there is none. It doesn't touch the water.
I have used these humidifiers to put in about 3 drops of essential oil to broadcast through my home daily. They work wonderfully. They are much cheaper than the expensive machines made for essential oils & I think they do a better job.
I have been using these humidifiers for years. I hope they don't stop making them!
