Customer Review: Not as pictured and Poor Performance

The product I received was not as pictured in the description - it was cream with black.
There was a very strong odor upon opening the packaging. I let it 'air out' for several days in my garage, and still there was residual odor. (I figure more airing out and some Febreeze could have fixed it but...)
The construction is not fabricated to support anything heavier than a few t shirts - sweaters/sweatshirts would be too heavy for each section. It needs something more substantial to keep it from sagging with the weight of anything. The bottom shelf piece needs a reinforcement of some sort.
I wanted it to store smaller handbags and clutches in my closet, but it was not suitable for it. I wouldn't dream of trying shoes in it (as some of the suggested tags say)
As I like to say something nice, the velcro seems very sturdy and could hold a good amount of weight.
