Tools and Hardware Reviews of Keurig 15540 Green Mountain Coffee K-Cups, Hot Cocoa - 16 K-Cups

Customer Review: Virtually flavorless...
Summary: 1 Stars

Like using a teaspoon of chocolate in a Big Gulp...even on the small cup setting.

Customer Review: Waste of Money
Summary: 1 Stars

When all the dried cocoa is used up in the K-Cup the cocoa is pretty good. But two out of three times my brewer leaves 1/3 of dry mixture in the bottom of the K-Cup. When this happens you get a cup of chocolate water. Might as well say you have thrown away fifty cents. Stick to the old fashioned cocoa packages and set your brewer to the hot water setting.

Customer Review: Watery because it doesn't work
Summary: 3 Stars

The other reviewers who stated it's watery is because the machine does not get all the cocoa out of the k-cup. It is actually DELICIOUS hot cocoa. To get it to "work" right, you have to either just cut open the k-cup and dump it into your mug, then let the machine put water in your mug. OR Run it through the machine, then cut the k-cup open and scrape the rest of the powder out and stir it into your cup.

Either way, don't use the largest cup setting as this will dilute it too much...medium is fine, small is richest. This IS actually REALLY delicious hot cocoa! but would be better in envelopes to avoid the k-cup plastic waste, since the k-cup cocoa mix does not get completely "used up" in the machine anyway.

Customer Review: Watery, very processed/fake taste
Summary: 2 Stars

Despite the generally weak reviews, I gave this a try because I love hot chocolate and the convenience of the Keurig. Unfortunately, I have to agree with most reviewers who gave this low marks. It is weak and watery and has more coconut oil than actual cocoa. If you don't mind the fake hot chocolate made with water and those little instant envelopes you might not mind these so much, but I won't be purchasing these again.

Customer Review: Weak
Summary: 3 Stars

I felt the cocoa was weak. Will try shaking the K-cup before inserting in the brewer like the previous poster suggested.
