Customer Review: Bitter Taste in Mouth Isn't Just Flavor

Similar to my review of the B30 from which I tasted this garbage. Once the hot chocolate is brewed it is bland, bland, bland. Why? Because if you look in the used k-cup, there's the rest of it sitting in the bottom of the cup! Brainless. Better that it's NOT in your cup because of the ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER that is NOT LISTED on the package gives it the tell-tale metallic taste. That's inexcusable, they need to label their products has having an artificial sweetener and artificial flavor, ugh. In addition, it's a trash creating machine, all those k-cups in landfills. Shame.
Stay away.

I love my Keurig and I was ecstatic about the hot cocoa option. My Keurig came with this flavor as part of the variety pack, and I have to say, it was probably the worst hot cocoa I have ever had. Hardly any taste. Pretty much tasted like very watered-down hot chocolate.
The only question I have now is whether there are other brands that make a good Keurig hot cocoa, or if the concept of hot cocoa in a k-cup is one that just doesn't work.

I just received my Keurig B60 yesterday and have been trying the sample flavors that came with it. The Green Mountain Hot Chocolate is by far the worst. This really does taste like hot water with just a hint of chocolate (I used the 7.25 oz. setting). I looked inside the K-cup to make sure cocoa wasn't left inside, and the machine did indeed get most of it out. It's just bland. I will stick with Swiss Miss.Customer Review: Cocoa K Cups

These were fine but the shipment consisted of 6 boxes of 16 K-Cups. Would have been nicer in the 24 Cup boxes currently available from Green Mountain, but the price is hard to beat.
