Tools and Hardware Reviews of Keurig 15540 Green Mountain Coffee K-Cups, Hot Cocoa - 16 K-CupsCustomer Review: Extemely week-anorexic for hot chocolate Summary: 1 Stars
Don't waste your money on this. It's awful. Stick with making a cup of hot water from the Keurig and adding a good quality package of hot chocolate.
Customer Review: Follow the directions!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have to laugh at those who give this hot cocoa a poor review. If they would only read the directions it is stated clearly that you have to shake up the k-cup before brewing. Just for kicks I tried the cocoa both ways--first shaking it and getting the best cup of hot cocoa ever, and the 2nd time not shaking it up and getting brown water as some have described here. So the moral of this story is READ THE DIRECTIONS and shake up the k-cup before you brew your hot cocoa! Seems simple enough.... :D
Customer Review: Good Cocoa, but not really meant for a K-Cup Summary: 1 Stars
This is good cocoa, but you'd almost have better luck just opening the K-cup and stirring it in. I have found that if I make it as per the box directions, I'll have about 1/4 of the cocoa still inside the cup.
Also, you do not want to do this on the large cup size - it will be so diluted that will not want to drink it. I make it using the middle sized cup and use 2 k-cups.
I got this on sale for $7, so it wasn't too bad of a price, but I think in the future I will just stick to buying a container of hot cocoa.
Customer Review: Good Hot Chocolate Summary: 4 Stars
We just received our Green Mountain Hot Chocolate and at first it did taste a bit thin (I did shake the cup before using it), but I added some caramel & whipped cream and it was perfect. I am not a huge hot chocolate drinker but like an cup when it is cold out. I ended up liking it very much and would buy it again.
Customer Review: Good for its purpose Summary: 4 Stars
Yes, its not the small town diners creamy thick hot chocolate, but if you want a quick, low cal (60 cal) cup of hot chocolate that tastes good, i recommend this product. One tip, I use it on the small cup setting; it tastes better to me and not as watery.
