I ordered 2 extinguishers from this company. When the package arrived 1 extinguisher was completely discharged in the box. I contacted the company and they told me to return the faulty extinguisher and they would give me a refund. But the cost of the return postage would greatly reduce my refund. After I ordered from this company I found the same extinguisher in a "Target" store for $4.00 less.
I hope no one else is taken by this company.

When I bought this fire extinguisher from Amazon I hoped we would never need to use it. Wrong! We had a fire in the living room after my kids left a candle burning. The wood end table caught fire and the FA110 worked great. When the fire started I ran for the fire extinguisher and my wife called the fire department. We have the fire out by the time they arrived. The fireman said if I had not had the Kidde FA110 we would have had a large fire. He told me fires double in size every 45 seconds.
If you do not have one of these get it...

I haven't had to use this extinguisher yet, but it arrived in perfect condition (and not discharged like some have experienced). I will update this review if I ever have to actually use it, but hopefully this never happens!Customer Review: Helped contain the fire until the FD showed up...

A fire extinguisher is one of those items that is really hard to review for the fact that you'll more then likely never have to use one. After years and years of it just sitting on the wall in the kitchen we had to use it.
One night the neighbor's vehicle caught fire (fault in the wiring we later found out) and immediately we grabbed it off the wall, ran outside, pulled the pin, and started spraying. This was enough to slow the fire from spreading very far and gave the fire department enough time to respond before everything was up in flames.
Probably one of the best $20-$40 investments you can make.
Be safe and get one!
