I bought this for my master bath which has an unusually configured shower. I had to make some adjustments in order to get it to fit in the space. The length and width of my shower are the size of an average bathtub. I had to leave off the back of the D-ring, and trim the support arm as it was much too long. The resulting shower rod is very wobbly, to the point that it looks crooked. I will need to go to the hardware store in order to find parts to make a second support arm to fix the wobble. I think even with the D-ring back attached it would still wobble as the construction is not top rate. However, for the price, and given that my shower is unusually configured, this is a decent item. Short of ordering a custom rod, this is as good as it gets. Just beware that it may be less stable than is ideal.
