Down comforters are wonderful, but they are too heavy for me. This comforter is not as heavy, but very warm. The cover is soft and because of the boxed stitching, the fluff stays in place. And what a deal - couldn't find such a bargain in any department store. I'm very happy with my purchase. I bought this for my wife out of the blue one day as she had recently stated she was looking for a comforter to use for the upcoming mild So Cal winter. I bought one at $39.99 and my wife loves it. She was expecting a feather comforter but I explained how this had some sort of fiber which alleviated the feathers that neither of us ever liked in any other comforter and the cost differential in material far exceeded our expectations. We now use this comforter as our main source for keeping warm on our bed. She now wants me to purchase another one for our daughters room.
The request to buy another speaks volumes as a testament to this product.

I've never invested in quality sheets before, so maybe I'm overly appreciative of the treat; but these sheets are wonderful. Yes, they are thick; I was prepped for that from reading the reviews. I just got this comforter. I was worried about the potential of it smelling (a chemical type smell) after reading some of the other reviews. Thankfully it doesnt smell at all. I put it right on the bed and I love it. It is so warm - perfect for winter. It is a sort of medium weight, which I also love. It doesnt get kicked off - stays in place. Last night was the first night that I really felt warm so far this whole winter.
The only negative thing I have to say is that it seems to kind of shed a bit. I havent quite been able to figure out how or why but Im finding little white cotton pieces on the outside.
I would recommend getting a cover for this.
