this is a good product. I use it at night when I ride my motorcycle. Love the LED lights and I can use as a stobe or solid. I will say that I get seen at night. Love the ultra high visibility stripe. Cant say anything bad about this product. would recommend it to anyone that rides or work at night.

Costarrican law recently requires motorcyclists to wear a reflective vest at night. Good measure, since a motorcycle has not much of a "light footprint".
After having reviewed lots of options I decided to go "flashy", just for the heck of it.
The supplied vest has great visibility/reflection due to the wide bands. The flashing LEDs add a special warning touch, and I see car drivers "respect" me more than usual. And other bikers stare at me enviously at stoplights.
The price is unbeatable (I bought two) and the quality seems fine. I can not share the complaints of the former reviewers concerning the on/off switch, because now it is just a button to "push = on / push = off". And it takes just two (2) AA batteries to operate. Second generation?

I definitely recommend this product for your safety.

Customer Review: Great item, but electronic skills needed!!

This item arrived, I opened up the casing to insert the batteries and I noticed the circuit board had alot of glue and a resistor with one leg that was not seated. The vest did not work with the batteries I inserted. I touched the loose resistor leg to the base of the transistor on the circuit board and the LEDs on the vest started working. I removed the excess glue on the components and re-glued the loose end of the resistor to the transistor and my vest is now permenantly operational thanks to my education and experience in electronic engineering. Overall the vest is great now that it is working, but poor construction should not be tolerated!! If I had no electronic experience the time and money to send this item back would have negated its cheap cost.

This Ultra High-Visibility LED Safety Vest, is great thing to have in your car, it really can help you to avoid and accident in the road in case you need to get out of your car at night. With its LED, there's no one that can't no see you from the distance. For security, I really recommend to have one or more vests like this in your car. Always security first!!!
