The Photon II LED Microlight is by far the brightest I've seen. I've purchased numerous LED keychains including the Inova Microlight and this particular one is the most powerful. Even though the Inova Microlight is pretty bright, I compared them and the Photon II is slightly superior in range and overall brightness. The little switch for constant light is simply amazing. I've owned the Inova Microlight flashlight in the past, back when they used to have a physical switch to stay on rather than the modal button they have now. When that light eventually failed I needed a suitable replacement and the modal button on the Inova wouldn't do, so to my delight I found the Photon which has exceeded my expectations. Small, bright, push button ease for brief use and stay-on physical switch when the situation demands. On top of that it's also inexpensive! I couldn't recommend it more, and I'll likely pick up more for gifts later.Customer Review: Best keychain light I've ever seen

My son asked for a keychain light for Christmas, so I decided to get him the Cadillac of keychain lights. At first I thought it was a bit expensive for such an item (though there are others I noticed that cost even more), but he and I are both pleased with it. It's worth the money. It is SUPER bright - as bright as some full-sized flashlights, and seems sturdy and well designed. Definitely WAY better than a $5 to $9 light that will break easily or have a weak light.Customer Review: Best keychain light I've ever used

I've tried many mini keychain lights over the years and this one by far is the best. Compared the Nova ones I used to get at Target, it's definitely uglier, but the light is FAR brighter and it doesn't get drained by lighting the inside of my pocket when pressed up against keys (which happened constantly with other lights I've owned) and it has a very specific 'keep on' switch which is perfect. If you've read this far, I congratulate you, but you could have just skipped to these following bullet points:
* very bright
* doesn't accidentally get drained in your pocket
* nice switch to keep light on
* for 8 bucks, totally worth it

Having been previously given one of these as a gift and had it last over 3 years...I was disappointed in the substitutes that I purchased since then. One was the cheap UFO and it lasted only 2 weeks. One was more expensive and the light was okay, but the integrated ring broke off in about 15 months.
This is well made. The light is bright and because the switch is recessed...it doesn't light up in your pocket like some others.
Recommended for everyone!
