I am very happy with this purchase. I wasn't able to find this fan at local stores. It has a remote control, nice electronic controls on the top of the fan, 3 fan speeds and adjustable timer. A very nice floor fan for the price.Customer Review: Sweet Fan

I am not sure what fan some of the other folks here received but let me state my opinion.
3 speeds, high speed is perfect, not too noisy, adequate air flow, definitely not too strong, I would have even liked it a bit more powerful on high.
Remote control is sweet, allows power on and off, and to change the speed and set the timer.
Yes, the fan does emit a beep when using the remote for any function, no it is not that loud or annoying. How many times are you really going to change settings in an hour or 2?
Overall, for the money, this fits the bill nicely. I will most likely purchase a second one.

I own 2 of these fans, one I bought in 2008 and one last year. The newer fan no longer beeps when you change any of the modes. I disabled the beeping on the other one by opening it up and cutting the wires that connect the beeper/speaker...which was my only complaint about the old one.Customer Review: This fan is huge

This fan is huge, which is fine. On high, moves tons of air. On low, its fairly quiet.
The beep on this thing will wake the dead, and just isn't necessary. Seriously, you gotta hear the beep on this. My cats disappear for an hour every time I adjust the speed or turn it off.
