Tools and Hardware Reviews of Lasko 52" Oscillating Pedestal Fan

Customer Review: Good alternative
Summary: 4 Stars

Not quite as powerful as a standard round fan, but a pretty good alternative if you want a fan that has a small footprint and has a nicer look.

Customer Review: Good buy.
Summary: 4 Stars

Great product. Does everything is should! No complaints. I would definitely recommend this product.

Customer Review: Good design fan but funtion should be better
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this Lasko 52" tower fan because of it is higher than most fans, I like it in my bedroom and the fan is quiet in the low speed!
The oscillating is slower than i would like, and the fan is noisy when in high speed.

Customer Review: Great Fan!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This little fan is PERFECT. The airflow out of it is actually quite amazing for the size of the unit. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. Nothing wrong with this unit at all. Easy to set-up, easy to use and the fan works great! So much quieter than other fans I have had with half of the airflow. Does what any fan is supposed to do, this one just does it much better!

Customer Review: Great Height
Summary: 4 Stars

Ordered this fan because of its height so I could use it in the bedroom with a tall bed and it works great in that environment. Easy to assemble, just a few screws in the base and insert the pole. The height adjustment "nut" is made of plastic and does need to be turned very tight to hold. Once I set the height, I'm not planning on changing it, but would be a bit concerned that with repeated use that nut might break. The base if fairly big, about 15" wide. High speed isn't what I would call quiet but it's not too annoying and after a bit the sound is just white noise. The remote does need to be pointed directly at the unit to function. Also of note, the fan doesn't actually attach to the pole, it just sits on top, so if you pick it up to move it, beware, the fan will come off - that could be a plus in that it's easier to carry two pieces rather than one tall fan - or it could be a minus in that you have to carry two pieces.
