I needed a fan that could be extended high and it had to be quiet and have a small profile. I took a lot of time looking at different models available and am glad to have decided on this fan! I use it in my dental operatory at work because our A/C system has very poor venting leaving my room with poor air circulation being at the end of the hall. This fan is set to the slow speed and it provides just the right amount of breeze at hardly any sound level. I keep it extended at its highest level. It definitely keeps me and my op much cooler and is hardly noticeable in the corner! I haven't used the remote and other options really, but I am sure they would work fine (sleep, on/off, timer, rotate).Customer Review: Great fan

This fan is great. I've had it for about a year now. I religiously have to sleep every night with a fan running and this one hasn't given me any problems! I'm also a light sleeper, so it's great that the fan is very quiet. Remote is a nice feature, too.Customer Review: Great fan, quiet operation

The fan was easy to put together and, not only is it quiet in operation, but it moves the air well. In addition, we find the timer feature and remote very useful. All in all and excellent product.
