I've owned this model for a few years now and I've been very happy. I've used this heater to save on utility bills by keeping the house thermostat low and using this to deliver spot heat in just the rooms I use. This forced-air heater will blow warm air quite a long distance and really circulates the air well. If you are looking for a unit that can heat a room efficiently, this is your product. If you use a heater under your desk to keep your legs warm this will do well. You will want to locate the heater somewhere behind you and point it where you want the heat.Customer Review: Great under my desk.

I needed a little something to keep my feet warm at my desk. This is small enough for the job. I put it on the lowest setting and it keeps me toasty warm. It pulls the air in through the top and sends it out the bottom where I need it. My cat enjoys sitting under the desk for the warmth, too.
I can also use it to warm the entire room when I'm not sitting at my desk. I just turn the setting a little higher. The room I have it in is 15 x 18, and it has warmed it up as an addition to the furnace. I have not tried it as the only heat source. It is not loud, and there is no smell to it.
I would definitely recommend this product. I am happy with mine. Of course how well you will like it will depend on the job you want it to do. The price was very good on Amazon compared to buying at the local stores. The cheapest I saw it locally was at Walmart for $39.99. Instead of paying for shipping, I also bought a DVD that I had planned on getting, which made the shipping free.

This is the little giant of space heaters. It's size is deceiving and it's usefulness, IMHO is seriously underrated. Super simple to operate and the most efficient way to distribute warm air in a cold room; straight from the bottom across the floor so the heat can rise like it wants to. No slouch in the power category with 750 and 1500 watt heat output with a very efficient blower fan throwing it out. We have learned that we can turn the house thermostat down and use this little guy to keep us toasty in the family room and keep quite comfortable while saving money. Very sturdy, not too loud and immediately becomes unobtrusive. The best space heater that I can imagine, by far.

Now have 2 of these. 1 in the family room and 1 in the living room. Love them both!
