This Lasko heater is very stylish and well-built, has excellent controls and thermostat, good heat output, and oscillates (if desired). It's really one of the classiest looking heaters available, especially in this medium price range. And even though a cheap, white plastic utility heater will, realistically, supply the same heat output, someone who purchases this Lasko unit will do so for the look, build-quality, and pride-in-ownership, rather than just as a simple heater.Customer Review: ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!! Worst Heater Ever! Do not waste your money on this heater.
I used this heater for 3 months, and it no longer works. It was not abused in any way shape or form. I did not drop it, there were no power outages/surges throughout my residence. There is no dust blocking the intake. In fact, its as clean as the day I bought it. I cannot explain why it does not work.
This was my first and will certainly be my last Lasko product, and I have to say, I am not very impressed with their quality, (or their customer service for that matter) There is no excuse for making such low quality products. A heater that lasts only 3 months?!?!?!?!? In this economy, we need products that go the extra mile. This product did not even make the starting line. I do not appreciate companies that take advantage of their perspective customers. I will not be buying anything made by Lasko ever again, and I would suggest you do the same.
There are plenty of heaters out there, I would look else where.
It's also really ugly.

I was very pleased with the Lasko heater. My only complaint at first was that the plug would get very hot after use, and even when it was not being used...just plugged in. The heating element works fine only if you are heating a small space (like at my desk, wanting to heat my legs or in a very small, confined area). Well, when I came home last night, I found that the plug to the heater had melted into the extension cord that it was connected to. I am very thankful that this did not start a fire. This is EXTREMELY dangerous and now I had to throw out the heater and the cord together. I love the design, but I cannot see myself purchasing another one. I will also be calling the manufacturer to inform them of this flaw. I guess the best thing to do is...make sure you do not leave it plugged in when not in use.Customer Review: Attractive and functional

Great heater for the bathroom. It doesn't take up much room. Warms the room pretty quickly. Love the oscillating feature. The beep is annoyingly loud and completely unnecessary. I like being able to set the timer so it will turn itself off if I forget. Wish it had a timer to turn on in the morning about 10 minutes before I get up for my shower!Customer Review: Best investment I ever made
