I LOVE IT!! This little Lasko 6435 Designer Series Ceramic Oscillating Heater with Remote Control throws some seriously BIG heat!! It heats my living room in only a few minutes and it's thermostatically controlled. Oscillates to a perfect 40' angle. It's also quite attractive - cute even. I got this along with the little Lasko 754200 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat which I also gave a raving & well deserved review. They are both EXCELLENT small heaters and ultra quiet that throw ALLOT of HEAT and a 'must have' in this really bitter cold weather when you are paying wicked high oil and gas bills - give yourself a break and get one of these!! WalMart has this heater for $40, so I bought mine there. I live in an old farmhouse and needed a small heater to use when it's drafty to conserve my fuel oil heat. This little heater is really cute and heats up my living room with no problems. It's great for supplemental heat and puts out more heat than the electric fireplace I bought.Customer Review: Attractive but Powerless

If the rating were based solely on looks, this heater would get 5 stars. It's a unique and attractive product. It is also very quiet. The problems with this heater are: 1. It doesn't put out a lot of heat. Even on high power and at the highest temperature setting, you can barely feel it if you're sitting more than a couple feet away. It hasn't warmed any room in our house bigger than the bathroom [although the instructions say not to use it in the bathroom -- and also not to use it in the shower(!!)]. 2. The range of oscillation is quite small (even my easy-to-please husband noticed it). 3. As much as we move this heater around, it would be very nice if it came with a handle. 4. Interestingly, the remote for this heater will control our Lasko fan and vice versa. This can pose a small problem if you have the two near each other.
