The Lasko Ceramic Heater (Item # 754200) is a great little unit. Our Heat Pump (A/C) unit broke down for 3 days during the worst freeze (30 degrees) this year. We froze our butts off until the Lasko Heaters showed up. One of these little units almost roasted us out of our bedroom (until we turned it down). If you need heat in an emergency, one of these (or several - I bought 3). This heater will surprise you at how well it keeps you warm and comfortable.

I have to admit that when I first received our heaters (we ordered three) and saw the size, I was skeptical about whether they would be able to generate enough heat to allow us to not use our forced air heating system. Well, let me just say that Lasko has made a believer out of me! We have a rather spacious master bedroom and on almost the lowest temperature setting the unit was able to keep us comfortably toasty all night long.

While it may not be the quietest model on the market, the noise that it does make is simply "white noise" and actually helped me to sleep better.

At this price, the Lasko 754200 ceramic heater is one HOT bargain!!!

This heater was unusable right out of the box. The heater element worked fine, but the fan rattled so loud that it wasn't tolerable. I am not fussy but I don't think anyone would be able to sleep thru that racket!!!!!!. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
