As a contractor, I have used a smaller version of this fan for approx 3yrs. Typical conditions include drywall dust, paint fumes and general air movement. Fortunately this product has lived up to my expectations in performance & longevity. This larger version is quiet and lightweight. I purchased this fan for use in my garage to help keep me cool from the Texas heat and this performance blower has done a tremendous job. It is powerful, quiet, and really moves a lot of air of a large area. Very pleased with my purchase, very pleased with delivery process. Ok...I could not resist the title! Literally the day we received the fan it was put to use. One of kiddos bumped the sunroof button on my truck and the roof cracked 1/4" open. Add one gigantic rainstorm and I had standing water in my truck! I got home, vacuumed the standing water and wiped everything down but the carpet and headliner were soaked...it was not looking good. A little research on the Internet and found the simple solution. Windows 1/4 of the way down and a flower on high...so I did just that. My first impression was how much air it quietly moves. Quiet enough to talk nearby and blows like my pp's old squirrel fan that has sent every kid tot he ER at least once. Fast forward to morning and to my surprise when I opened the car door not a trace of the rain could be found...consider me sold! I have since used it working in the garage especially when under the car for maintenance as it is a lifesaver. No downside and after a season of use it still performs like new. Looking forward to many good years withe Lasko. Oh, just FYI my neighbor liked mine so much he bought one thet looked just like the Lasko - but wasn't...and it is far from the quality and literally moves maybe 1/2 the air.Customer Review: Cool and Price Reasonable

I actually bought this at WalMart but wanted to read the reviews and I must say I agree with all of them. The air is cool and moves a lot in a concentrated area. I'm waiting until it gets really hot and I put on our air conditioner and see if it moves the air through the house. I wish it was oscillating but for $45 it's a decent product. Plus, I really got this free with my gift card.
