I owned the previous Wave for 6 years and used it every day in my work as an auto mechanic. It was tough, durable, convenient, and really useful... Then I lost it one day !!! I was disgusted and immediately set about buying another. I purchased the new wave with the leather sheath. Put simply, it is even better than the original, just as useful, but even tougher and easier to use. I like the bigger easier opening blades, the clever built in tool adaptor, the fact that all the blades and tools now lock, and the revised sheath design. They improved the original without losing it's appeal. I just hope I never lose this one !!Customer Review: Another Great Product from Leatherman

This is what you would expect from a great company like leatherman. The tool has most everything you would need on the job for quick cuts and splices. It's very tough and holds up very well being 100% stainless steel. It's just to bad that Amazon dropped the price by $20.00 just three weeks after I ordered mine.Customer Review: Another great Leatherman

As always, Leatherman products ROCK! The WAVE is a solid tool for general use and contains nearly anything you might need in an emergency. I find it extreemly useful with the bit set and keep it on the Motorcycle whenever I ride. I can absolutely and unequivacably recommend the Leatherman Wave.Customer Review: Awesome tool

This is my first multi tool....and I cannot imagine a better one. I have had it for over a year now and use it every day. It is a great tool that I can see on my belt for the next 10 years! I think my belt may wear out first!
