I will keep this review short simply because other reviewers have aleady explained all of the product's specifics.
I received a Leatherman Wave from soldiers on a military deployment of my own some three years ago. I was mostly new to multi-tools, although I was currently carrying a gerber multi-tool which was issued to me for deployment.
I don't believe a day went by in which I did not find a use for this Leatherman. It is put together very well and has lasted me through present day. The only wear that concerns me thus far is that my pliers are beginning to slightly misalign. This is no fault of the Leatherman though because it was taken a terribly large amount of abuse, both from myself and all of my acquaintances.
If this Wave breaks I will more than likely pull money out of my pocket to buy another. I basically came here to praise this product because on a daily basis for years it was served me very well. Thank you Leatherman!

Excellent tool with fit and finish that is second to none. The Wave is perfect for everyday carry and fits in a pocket with out any problems. I own several other multi-tools ex: Swiss Champ, Work Champ,Kick, Spirit S, Spirit X etc. and believe that the craftsmanship is on the same level as Victorinox. This Leatherman has a great assortment of tools. All of the tools appear to be well made and solid, so I think it should last a lifetime. The knife and serrated knife have one-handed opening and lock, which I have found useful. It also has pliers, wire cutters, a wire stripper, screwdrivers, a large and small bit driver, scissors, a file, a bottle opener, a can opener, and a ruler.Customer Review: Excellent tool

I have used this tool for the past month, and am addicted to it. It has been invaluable. I tried using a cheaper multitool and found the Leatherman to be of much higher quality. The tool can be a little tough to remove from its sheath one handed, but that was easily resolved when I accidentally put the sheath on my belt upside down. I've been doing it that way since. I'd definitely recommend it.
