This tool is an evolution of the already excellent Super Tool 200. I own both and getting to love the Core by the day. No-nonsense, very practical and useful; if you want a strong and versatile can-do-all tool without having to pay the earth, then this is the tool for you. This is the best value for money. A must-have addition is the tool adapter -or- the bit driver as some call it, which gives you the ability to use any standard 1/4" hex drive bits, which considerably enhances the already large array of things that you can do with this tool.Customer Review: Excellent Tool!

Great tool! With 3 flat screw drivers and a philips it is aimed at the civilized end of the spectrum. It does have a wood cutting blade that works alright on PVC. One thing I thought of that it doesn't have that most screw drivers have is an electrically insulating handle. Oh well, of course it has to be metal. All around a good tool. I don't have any major gripes with it. I think it is the biggest that Leatherman makes currently.Customer Review: Good and Satisfactory for Most Jobs

I have owned several leathermean multitools over the years, and I have had the privilege of watching their product lines expand and develop. The core will suite the needs of most users quite well with rugged pliers and nice assortment. However this design predominately features the pliers and folds the tools into the inside of the handles. This means that whenever they are accessed the tool must be opened. I personally prefer the Wave-style leatherman products that have blades mounted for use on the outside of the tool. If you are to spend the money on this tool consider the Wave, or the Charge series as I have found them to be a better value. The most used parts of my leatherman tools has always been the blades followed by the pliers. Having to open the tool to access blades requires two hands and takes a lot of time. Consider the purpose and uses of the tool before purchase.Customer Review: Good leatherman
