Customer Review: A "Must Have" accessory to the new Wave and others

The bit assortment expands the value of the Leatherman 830040 New Wave Multi-Tool with Nylon Sheath clear over the horizon. Hex, torx, Posi-drive, more Phillips and slotted bits give the New Wave a much broader range of screws and bolts to work on, as well as a very small slotted and Phillips. The bit click in smartly and hold up pretty well. The two plastic holders with their bits slide into a pocket in the nylon New Wave case snuggly. The only downside is the added bulk of the New Wave's case with all this stuff in there. A small price to pay though.
Well worth the added weight, bulk, and reasonable price as it makes the New Wave a tool for many more occasions.

I bought a Leatherman Wave back in December and was pleasantly surprised to see it used a removable bit for the screwdrivers. What was even better was to find that there was an expansion bit set to go with it. The retail price seemed a bit high, but after a little searching I was able to find a good price. I work with computers, and this has been a real help. Instead of carrying a full-sized multi-bit screwdriver, I have a compact Wave and my bit set. I've arranged the bits so that the ones I'd most likely need are in one holder, which is stored in my Wave case. A very nice addition.Customer Review: Accessories for leartherman products

If you've bought one of the new Leatherman products that can take these kind of bits, get this kit. The bits are well made and it's a very useful assortment. The two carriers sit in the sheath flat and really aren't noticable on the belt. The sheath can be carried horizontally or vertically.

This is just as advertised. The pouch holds both sleeves of bits and will fit easily in a back pocket or on a belt. The one bit missing however is the bit necessary to perform maintenance on the Leatherman itself. I was disappointed when I discovered this.
