The unit works OK as a crank flashlight, but I have crank flashlight/radios for less than 1/2 the price of these that are as good and made even better. This unit is nearly twice the size of my less expensive units and not made as well.
The benefit to this unit would be the AD/DC and phone adapters, but they are any but free, as stated in the description When you log onto the web site to get your "free" adapters, you are changed shipping and handling of $18 for the three adapters or $6 for each, if ordered separately. You can purchase adapters for $2 or $3 a piece at a local electronics store. What a rip off.
