I purchased an used ivory leather couch that had several scratches (looked like it may have been from cat nails). It was scratched enough that the "brown" part of the leather was very visible. I used a small plastic container (tupperware-like) to mix the paint (like the other reviewer recommended: start with a tinny amount of yellow and a tinny amount of brown and add white until you get the desired shade), and tested the color with a small flat tip paintbrush under the cushion. I found matching the color was very easy. I applied the paint with the paintbrush over the scratch, and gently blended the paint edges with a cotton ball for a seamless appearance. I recommend mixing small amounts at a time, because it does dry fast. (I did the entire couch, so I had to mix a new batch several times). Now it is nearly impossible to see the scratch from more than one foot away (if you look very closely, you can see the texture of the scratch where it was, but since it is the same color of the couch it is well camouflaged.) I did not use the pen itself or the filler, so I cannot comment on that.
