I own a window cleaning company and this is my 2nd Model 22. There is considerable structural difference in the Type 1A/1. The Type 1 is still a very good ladder for all household work. Understand all ladders have a characteristic flex and feel. Use them correctly. My crews felt very comfortable working with the Type1. I shipped the saver method and had it here in 3 days. The Little Giant 10303 Model 22 Type 1 19-Foot Boxed Ladder is the ultimate in strength, safety and versatility. The 10303 has a stepladder height of 5-Feet and can extend up to 9-Feet tall in 1-Foot increments in the A-Frame orientation. When used as an extension ladder it has a height of 11-Feet and adjusts up to 19-Feet tall in 1-Foot increments. The 10303 ladder's adjustable legs allow it to be used safely on stairs, ramps, curbs, docks or other uneven surfaces. It iis made of heavy-wall, 6005-T5 aluminum, the very same material used in aerospace construction, making it ultra-strong while remaining light and portable.
