Customer Review: Absoutely a safety hazard!

I bought two of these at CVS. One of them actually caught fire as a component on the circuit board exploded. It was then that I checked here to read reviews, and was horrified to find other reports of fire. CVS gave me my money back, and CVS headquarters formally notified the manufacturer (MerchSource, LLC). Particularly troubling to me is the fact that this is an item that might be unattended for hours, next to a sleeping child. (The product is also available here on amazon under at least one other brand name; I've cross-posted there.) Please, please, please do not buy this-- particularly for your kid's room!
