I ordered this unit after looking around on the web for comparable items. This unit got good reviews from others so I felt comfortable in getting it as well. I was not disappointed. Installation was a snap. Setting it up for programming was also easy. I did not think that setting up each day's times were as difficult as others have mentioned. It only took a few minutes to do the whole week, not a big deal at all. I would recommend this to others to get.Customer Review: A useful tool!

I bought this thermostat so my wife could use it without having to find her reading glasses. It was easy to install and has worked well. The touch screen makes it really easy to use and even programming was a breeze. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!Customer Review: AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough about this product. bought a two story 2854 sq ft house. Got the first electric bill and it was $370 (bulging eyes). At that moment i went online and bought two Lux TX9000TS after reading reviews for the two units in my home. my next bill with those two Lux units controlling my a/c units the whole time was $125. that's almost a third of the cost of running the a/c units with the original controllers. it paid for itself in one month...Customer Review: Accurate and easy to use

I never thought replacing a thermostat would make a big difference, but I am very glad I purchased this thermostat. We already had a programmable thermostat but it was over 10 years old. We did some house remodeling and I decided to look for a newer thermostat. This one got a great review in Consumer Reports so I took the plunge, especially since the price was nice on Amazon.
The unit is pretty easy to install and program. The only gripe I had is having to select "yes" every time I made a configuration change.
Overall, I swear our house is warmer and the furnace does not come on as often. So, I am hoping we'll see a improvement in our utility bill.
