I've bought three of these for different locations. The ability to set minimum cycle times and higher swing values, along with some weather sealing, has saved me %20 in energy costs.
The user interface is terrific. The touch screen is a saver. The installation is easy. The ability to track daily and cumulative run times let's you instantly see where you stand with energy consumption. I'm very happy with the design and implementation of this product.

This was an excellent buy. I wasn't sure about the installation because I had a couple of extra wires coming out of the wall, but following the directions I only connected the two going to the thermostat (the other was to an additional clock) and it works perfectly. Operationally it is very easy to program and all members of the family have no problems using or making heat adjustments.Customer Review: Excellent!

This thermostat is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install once you figure out where each cable goes. I had to review the manual several times before I figured out how to connect it. My old thermostat had 6 wires in total which contributed to the confusion.
However, once it was connected... the rest was pretty simple. Programming is not as difficult as I thought from reading past reviews. Quite simple actually once you figure out the programming order.
The thermostat also looks great! What more could you want?

This is the most flexible thermostat I've ever installed. My son installed it for me in about 20 minutes. You can even set the "swing" (sample rate). It gives the user more control than I've seen on any thermostat.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the manual type is small and hard to read. I think it is an excellent value though. If LUX reads this, please print the manual using a larger type setting.

After moving into a new home, I was eager to remove the clunky old mercury-based Honeywell thermostats on which I could barely read the numbers and which, of course, lacked any sort of programmability. The key with these thermostats is that they are completely programmable with up to 4 times a day when you can change the temperature. Each day is separately programmable. You can can override the default program by setting the machine to "hold" the temperature constant. The thermostat is really easy to install and the blue backlight looks much better than the green one in many other models. Once you set up your program, your main interest will likely be in just checking the current temperature and/or time. This model has a nice, large button in the lower right for activating the backlight for several seconds. I have since replaced all my thermostats with this model and I'm extremely pleased with the results.
