Customer Review: A blessing for comfort

This product is really a blessing. I have 2 space heater. Before buying this product I had both heaters on. The problem was that in the middle of night I woke up full of sweat, because there was not a way to stop one of the heaters when the room temprature became hot while I was asleep. After I purchased this product, I set the device to 73 f and connected one of the heaters to it . Now when both heaters are working when the room temprature reaches to 73 degrees F , the device shuts off the heater that is connected to it, and therfore the room temprature does not increase over the set temprature. This device pays for itself , since I do not pay for the electricity and heat that I do not need, and more important it keeps me healty, not waking in the middle of night from too much heat, so I can sleep with peace. I bought this thermostat to run an oil-filled radiator that is keeping the interior of our motohome above freezing while it's parked for the winter. The t/stat on the heater was so vague as to be useless. I have it set at 46 degrees and it's working fine. It would be better from a power consumption viewpoint if it could be set down to 40 degrees, hence the one missing starCustomer Review: A great little energy saver!

I bought the programmable Outlet Thermostat at the beginning of winter, to try and regulate the electric heater in my room more accurately and keep it from staying on all night, even if I needed it to kick in if the temperature dropped alot. It's been working quite well and I'm glad that I bought it. I would give it a full five stars, but the one feature that I find lacking is that there is no light, even a quick temporary hold button that one can push to see the information on the readout. I have my thermostat outlet low to the ground, so it's a bit difficult to read unless I'm down there and it the room is lit. Otherwise, I'd purchase this item again.Customer Review: A must have with any generic space heater!!!

Once in awhile a product comes along that works better than described, and this is one of them. I am usually a tough sell, but when some company produces something that works this well, they deserve accolades. It will run a space heater all winter, and then you can use it in a window fan during spring, to blow cooler air into the house. When it gets hotter for the summer, you can use it on the window air conditioner. Then you can use it in the fall to control the fan in the window again. This device is reliable, sturdy, and has served me without fail for a year.
You have to use it intelligently, and whenever I switch from heating to cooling, I push the little reset button on it. It has a bug or two in it, but I do not use a programmed situation, only setting it for cool or heat, on 'Hold' and letting it go at that. It seems to me it is to be highly recommended, and worth the money for being able to control those heating and cooling items supplied with worthless thermostats for controlling them. It is digital and seems to be very accurate. I cannot recommend it enough, and would give it ten stars if I could, for actually doing what it says it will do, which is getting to be unusual in the American market!
