Customer Review: Accurate and a great value

I recently purchased two of these units to regulate the temperature in my bedroom and my living room. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. The temperature readout is spot on and it's easy to program. However I do have two complaints:
1. The unit can only program weekdays and weekends. That means you can't choose a specific day of the week to program. For example, I am never at my apartment on Saturdays, however since Saturday and Sunday must have the same schedule, as well as monday-friday, I'm wasting energy.
2. In order for this unit to work, there MUST be a ground plugged into the outlet. I bought two "DeLonghi HHP1500 Mica Panel Radiator" heaters (they are amazing, I highly recommend) which don't have a ground. In order for it to work, I had to plug in an extension cord into the thermostat to trick it into thinking the ground was plugged in, then I plugged my heater into the extension cord and it worked.
Overall, I recommend the thermostat.

I bought one of these thermostats to use with a Dimplex Electric Stove CS1205. Absolutely amazing temperature control! The stove is either on or off, high or low. With the thermostat, it controls turning it on and offf instead of me getting up in the night to do it. I am purchasing another one for a heater in another room. It's easy to program this device, and the override makes it easy to adjust for guests who need it a little warmer/cooler. Truly a money saving device. I expect the two thermostats will pay for themselves this winter alone. This would make a nice gift for those with on/off heaters and air conditioners.Customer Review: Awesome Product

This thermostat is the greatest thing ever made, its great for everyone that has a heater or a/c. I bought two for my basement rooms due to the temperature was either too cold or hot during the winter months. I have a half basement and it only has one vent from my central HVAC and during the winter if it's "comfortable" down there then it is steaming upstairs. I bought an oil filled heater to augment the HVAC in that room. The problem with that alone is that eventually it got too hot in the room and I had to turn it on and off all the time.
I purchased the WIN100 thermostat and plugged the oil filled heater into it and programmed the temperature to a comfortable level. Then I walked away. This thing turns on and off the heater for me and keeps the room at a comfortable temperature level.
This thing is awesome!

Amazon recommended WIN100 Heating & Cooling Programmable Outlet Thermostat after I bought "Dimplex CS1205 Compact Electric Stove" heater because the heater doesn't have thermostat. After it arrived, I couldn't connect to that outlet and wasn't compatible. Then I had to call and email customer service and wait for their responses. They later confirmed that if the heater doesn't have third prong (ground wire), DO NOT USE AND RETURN IT. Then I had to pay for shipping cost to return it. Amazon should consider the valuable reasons and they had to make sure before they recommend any more product.
