I've been searching for a silk pillowcase for very long time. It was not easy to find a king case at an affordable price. I mainly wanted one for my hair. I heard that cotton / polyester cases absorb all the natural oils and cause dry hair, which I typically have. I've used the silk case now for several weeks and find that it does indeed help. My hair is not as dry and as time goes by I hope it'll get even better. Good buy, glad I finally got it :-)
