'For a Maglite flashlight', it gives a pretty decent amount of light. But if you were expecting the digital camo 'color scheme' shown on the Amazon web page, don't count on it. Mine was considerably different in color. Maybe that's why the other purchaser posted his own picture of the flashlight. [Follow-up: 2 weeks later. I liked the flashlight so well that I ordered another one from Amazon for a friend. And was I disappointed! The new one, instead of having a bright, crisp, 'WHITE' LED-type light like mine, it 'cast' a 'yellowish', almost dull (althought still adequately bright), light. I just question their quality control when you get such a variance like this between the two units.]
