Customer Review: ALMOST the right glove -- but I didn't want the chemical layer

Woe is me. I was SO happy and excited to get this glove. It ALMOST fit well, especially after I custom-sewed back the extra lengths on the fingers and thumb. Very dexterous, level 5 cut protection. I WAS not going to have any complaints -- until I saw the insert that came with the glove stating, "MCR Safety's antimicrobial protection is built into our gloves during manufacturing to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew that may cause stains, odors and product degradation. Our gloves maintain this protection after repeated sanitizing and laundering procedures."
I do not know what they have put on these gloves and I do not really want whatever they put on these gloves to go into my body. For this reason I will only use these gloves when I really feel I need to use them for small vegetables; the rest of the time I'll go glove-free and just be careful.
Sorry, but I would have preferred something made steel and HEMP fibers because hemp is NATURALLY mold-resistant. With this I have synthetic fibers plus who knows WHAT chemical concoction touching the food that goes in my body. No thank you!
