Customer Review: Attractive - but doesn't suction to sink

I wanted an attractive sponge holder that would suction to the inside of my kitchen sink so that it would drip into the sink and not take up room on my kitchen counter. I thought that is what this did, but it has no suction. It is meant to sit on the countertop. While it's attractive, it's not that attractive for me to want my spong still hanging out on my countertop. I bought this to replace a sponge holder that suction-cupped to the inside of my sink. The old holder kept slipping, so I decided to get something new. I was worried that the sponge holder would clutter up my counter, but it looks very nice. We live in the Caribbean where it's humid and nothing dries. Our sponges can quickly become gross if left sitting face down on the counter. This looks good, is easy to clean (no rusting), and allows the sponge to dry (mostly) on both sides. Very happy with this purchase.Customer Review: Great Design

I selected this item to give to some lucky folks on my gift list and decided to get myself one. Now that I have used it for a week I am buying another one for my other home. It is perfect and made of the 18/10 stainless as advertised so I plan to enjoy the utility of this sponge holder for years and believe it will continue to look great. For people who use two different sponges, you can fit two sponges in the holder if desired. I have a daughter who uses one for sink and one for counter top and will not mix the two! We all have our rules, eh? Don't hesitate to purchase this winner.
