Customer Review: Great Flashlight

This flashlight is great. I have 176 feet distance between my patio door to the back fence. I used it to watch my dogs go poo poo at night. I can see their eyes reflect and I can see their bodies. I also have a shed back there. When I point at it I can clearly see it. I can point it to the left and right side fences without problems. I also use it to ensure that all my my three gates (two side and one back gate) are not opened. I just make sure when I come home from a long trip late at night that neighboring kids didn't coming in or open the gates.
I own the same flashlight but using the normal yellow bulb. I like the white better.
12/12/2009 - Additional comment. The 4D flashlight is heavy. Good weapon in case you need but heavy. In some occasions, I used another door to get the doors to the backyard to do their business and it is outside our fence. I havce to shepperds so holding holding both of them in one hand, flashlight on the other and opening the house door and fence door is really tough. I recently just bought a Stanley LED 5V flashlight from Lowes named Stanley SL5W09 5 Watt LED Spot. It is so light that I can hold it with a few fingers and open doors or hold the dogs on one hand. It has higher voltage so it is super bright. At 176 feet it is better than the 4D LED Maglite.

This is a great flashlight, it lights up the night. The fact that you can focus the light into a narrow beam is a great feature. It makes it easy to scan the edge of the woods from my back deck (looking for racoons) about 100-150ft away. It is rugged too, I can't count how many times I have dropped it and still the original light bulb works. It is nice heavy duty flashlight,if I had hammer something (small) or pry something it would hold. Don't forget though, this flashlight isn't light and it isn't good for a long stroll at night. It is a little too heavy to carry comfortably for a long time and doesn't fit in pockets or packs well, but fits just fine in my toolbox and trunk.Customer Review: Great flashlight to keep around

This is a solid flashlight and is great for everything from camping to simply navigating the house during a power outage. The beam is very powerful and adjustable from a focused beam to a spread out light. The batteries last for quite a while, and you won't have to buy replacements often. The case is solid and can even be used for self defense if the need ever arises. With the batteries in it, it makes a hefty club. There's also a spare light-bulb in the battery cap, just in case your bulb does ever happen to go out during your ownership of this flashlight(which it probably won't). So if you want a reliable and bright flashlight, this is for you. The only con is that it's kind of hefty, so if want something more portable, consider one of the smaller length mag-lites.Customer Review: Help me

It's long' it's heavy and it's powerful. This thing could be a weapon if you needed it to be. Cast a very stong beam and is a very durable flashlight.
